How Hot Dog Productions Ltd handles personal data, including the photographs and footage you send us for a film.

Who is responsible

Hot Dog Productions Ltd, company number 08145679, registered office Suite 1 Unit 7, The Henfield Business Park, Shoreham Road, Henfield, West Sussex, BN5 9SL, United Kingdom. Questions and requests: support@hotdog.productions.

What we collect

  • Enquiry details — the name, email address, film type, date and message you submit through the contact form.
  • Project material — the photographs, video clips, audio and text you send for a film, plus the notes you give us during revisions.
  • Correspondence — emails and messages about your project.
  • Delivery records — what was delivered, when, and in which formats.

Why we hold it

To answer your enquiry, to produce the film you have commissioned, to keep the records a company is required to keep, and to handle a complaint or a claim if one arises. We do not use your material for anything else.

Your material is not published

Photographs, footage and audio you send are used for your film only. They are not shown on this site, not used as examples in proposals, and not shared with other clients. The stills on this site are illustrative and are not client work.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become projects: up to 12 months. Delivered projects: working files for 90 days after delivery, then deleted, unless you ask us to keep them for a future edit. Invoices and company records: as long as accounting law requires. You can ask for earlier deletion at any time.

Who else sees it

Our own editors, and the service providers that host our email and file transfer. We do not sell data and we do not run advertising or analytics trackers on this site.

Your rights

You can ask for a copy of what we hold, ask for correction, ask for deletion, or object to how we are using it. Write to support@hotdog.productions and we will respond within one month. If you are not satisfied you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
