Home / Delivery specs
What arrives, in what format, at what length.
Everything on this page is agreed before cutting starts and written into your quote. If a format you need is not listed, ask — it may still be possible, and we would rather say so before the work than after it.
Runtime
Three runtime bands, one fixed price each.
Runtime is fixed when you approve the outline. Films that run longer than the agreed band are re-scoped rather than silently shortened.
| Band | Runtime | Typical use | Revision rounds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Short | up to 4 minutes | Birthday message, single-occasion film | 2 |
| Standard | 4 – 7 minutes | Anniversary or wedding memory | 2 |
| Long | 7 – 12 minutes | Family years, travel chapter film | 2 |
Prices are quoted per project in writing. We do not publish a live price list because the two variables that move it — runtime and how much material has to be sorted — are only known once we have seen your folder.

Source material
What survives the edit, and how.
Mixed sources are the normal case, not the exception. The rule we work to: never make a soft photograph huge, and never make clean footage look old to match it.
| Source material | What we do with it | What you should know |
|---|---|---|
| Phone footage (1080p / 4K) | Used as supplied, graded to match the rest | Vertical phone footage cannot fill a 16:9 frame without either cropping or a designed border — we will show you which we recommend. |
| Scanned prints | Cleaned, stabilised, gently moved inside the frame | Scans at 300 dpi or better hold up at 4K; a phone photograph of a print often does not. |
| Old video (VHS, MiniDV, 8mm) | Used where it survives; treated as archive | Soft or damaged footage is placed deliberately, not stretched across the screen. |
| Voice notes and audio | Levelled and placed under the picture | Send the original file, not a re-recorded playback. |
| Music | Licensed by us, or supplied by you with the right to use it | Commercial chart tracks need a licence that covers video; we will tell you the cost before cutting to one. |

Source material, before it becomes a film. Illustrative still.
Scope
What this service is, and what it is not.
What is not included
Shooting. We do not send a crew, and we do not film events. This is a post-production studio: the material comes from you.
Public hosting. Your film is delivered as a file. We do not publish it, stream it, or keep it online after the download window closes.
Unlimited changes. Two revision rounds are included in every project. Further rounds are quoted as new scope, at the same day rate as the original work.
Turnaround
First cut: usually within ten working days of outline approval. Finished film: usually within three weeks. Larger projects are scheduled in your quote rather than promised here, because a twelve-minute film built from twenty years of material is not the same job as a four-minute birthday message.
Need a format that is not listed?
Ask before you order. We would rather add a line to the quote than deliver something that will not play where you need it.
