A video studio for the material people already own.

Hot Dog Productions Ltd is a private limited company registered in England and Wales. We make personal films to order, for clients across Europe.

The studio

What we actually sell

Two things: the decision about what belongs in the film, and the time it takes to make that decision hold. Everything else on this site is a consequence of those two.

  • Films are quoted per project, with the scope written down before cutting starts.
  • Every project includes two revision rounds, each one a single consolidated pass.
  • Your material is used for your film and nothing else — it is not published, not shown here, and not passed to anyone else.

A download link plus a copy that is yours to keep.

Who cuts the film

Selection, structure and the first cut are done by the person who quoted your project. Grading and sound are handled in the same room, by the same small team. That is the whole studio — we take on a limited number of projects at a time so that a film is never passed down a queue.

What we do not do

We do not shoot weddings or events, and we do not sell a subscription. If you need a camera crew on the day, we are the wrong studio; if you need the footage you already have turned into something worth keeping, we are the right one.
